To develop skills of unemployed South Africans in an effort to uplift the communities they live in. We aim to achieve this by identifying young community leaders and mentoring them into business owners with the tools required to successfully run a business. This includes being transparent and responsible for seed capital and the investments made into the business and reporting back to the investors on a regular basis.
“what”
qolsme is an initiative driven by the need to improve the quality of life in communities throughout South Africa through job creation and placement as well as developing new businesses by assisting new business owners with mentorship programs helping them to grow and run their businesses to a point where it ensures economic growth of small communities. (great!!)
“how”
We identify existing communities with skills shortages with the aim of training and mentoring key individuals so as to turn it into a self- sustainable micro economy.
This happens through key stakeholders investing their time and resources to ensure these micro economies stays on course and keeps growing.
It’s about human beings
Every South African citizen has something to contribute to society. We have all been blessed with talents and a life that should be lived well. At our core we all have basic needs too. The question is then, will we give more than we take?
The qolsme project strive to better the personal situation of South Africans by allowing them access to everything they need to earn an income and improve upon their skillset. When the professional side is working well, the personal side will improve automatically.

What does it take?
Doing good with good money
Investors are needed to provide funds that help grow small businesses in the Self Sustainable Micro-economies we are creating. Mentors are put in place to manage the investments with business owners and so the investor can at any time get feedback on what their money is doing.
Through our technology partner we develop and maintain software platforms aimed at keeping these businesses monitored at all times. Business owners are taught through these platforms how to responsibly manage the funds that are made available to them.
We believe that as an investor you should always be able to see how your money is doing what it was set out to do, good.
Changing the world, one person at a time.
We aim to change the world by changing the lives of South African people with a need to give back to their communities. Whats great is that you, as investor, could be responsible for someone:
